LINGERIE SHOP
The design of the shop interprets the lingerie line by Karolin Schran. The collection is inspired by the beauty of gothic churches and their famous architecture, in particular the elegantly bent surfaces which are framed by defined spines as known from the remarkable groined vault. This formal typology is visible in almost every piece of the lingerie line. Fine fabric gently enfolds the curves of the body while defined seams and stitching are literally underlining the sensuality of the female forms. The architectural inspiration is a perfect base to design a unique and modern shop which embodies both the lingerie design and its inspiration. It should lead to a subtle but overall corporate feeling in every aspect and translate the quality of the brand into three dimensions.
The facade and the internal walls of the shop are mainly built of large slightly bent metal sheets with a bronze and copper finishing which are gently overlapping each other. Sharp shadow gaps between the metal sheets are defining the contours of the room in dependence on a gothic groined vault and help to give the shop its memorable appearance. A careful combination of high quality materials gives the interior and its product displays their deserved luxurious look and feel. The champagne-coloured metallic sheets together with the beige soft carpet and the smooth stitched cream leather parts on the walls are creating a comfortable and sensual impression and give the lingerie pieces an extraordinary while very suitable stage to appear.
