The design concept of the G 60 Yacht combines the elegant proportion of a classic 60 foot sloop with several innovative features making it a high performance sailing gear. Its lightweight construction and performance-oriented underwater hull allows it to be a competitive racer while the on- and under deck design still offers the amenities of a comfortable cruiser. From the very beginning a strong focus was on innovative detailing which could benefit to the sailing speed, to the comfort and the design impact. Starting with the sharp reverse bow which maximizes the length of the waterline and hence the hull speed, and therefore allows a better hydrodynamic drag. This again allows more speed under canvas, less fuel-consumption under engine and additionally gives the yacht a certain provocative look.

The short deck house is positioned aft of the mast so that the flush foredeck spreads to the maximum and assures best handling for the crew during sailing maneuvers. Allowing comfortable head room in the prow, the stem is relatively high. Together with the ascending contour from aft to bow, it gives the whole hull a quite muscular appearance. Inspired by the beautiful stern of a Riva Boat, the infolded upper parts of the hull sensually enclose the cockpit while keeping it dry even during extensive heeling.
